Ph.D’s aren’t always known for their business acumen and personalities. I know I sure wasn’t. As a recovering curriculum designer, I had contract work, and didn’t quite know how to articulate my value. People seemed to like my skills, but often expressed ‘we know we want to work with you, but we don’t know where to put you.’ My business mentor was great, she listened, helped map out what I was great at and developed an employment package and a professional brand that allowed me to easily shift from a j.o.b. opportunity to a consulting opportunity. I’m now writing my first ebooks, and with RSE’s help, will be able to publish and establish myself as an expert in leveraging technology in K12 Education. AG, Round Rock, TX.
